I am a new computer user. I received a "zip" attachment with lots of pictures on it and I do not know how to open?.

Could someone tell me how to open a "zip" attachment. I looked and it says to download something that would to open, but even the instructions that seemed hard. Help. Thank you. PS I forwarded attachment on without being able to open, but do not know not even he would try to forward it. Regardless, I would like to view pictures. Thank you so much. Mary

Download the file on your computer. If you have XP or Vista, the file should have a zipper on it. It is treated like any other folder. Double click to open. Unzip is integrated into the operating system. When you drag something from the folder and put it elsewhere, will expand. The original remain. A separate program is required only if you have an operating system older than XP or folder is password protected. ₪ ɦəlʞɹɐq ₪
