Gesso brush my dog smells like a wet rot?
I bought a 13 million Princeton Art & Brush Co. gesso brush. Once I used it and washed with water, it started stinking. He continued to feel like animals wet horrible for nearly two days until finally all dry, and it still smells the same now, but not quite as sensitive to the state sec. Is this normal for a brush with a smell so horrible? I've never had a problem with brushes before and I was wondering if it comes only with the territory when using a large (3 "and thick) brush. Thanks!
no it is not normal. A Princeton Art & Brush Co. Brush gesso has been known to have an odor, but never a stench. Maybe you should try to do is boil and see how it goes. Once cooked, dry with a hair brush. Hope this helps!
