Does drying my cieling ok or should I be concerned about mold?
We live in a dry desert climate and, recently, toilet pipe had burst and water flowed for about an hour from our 2nd floor with our ceiling in our first floor. We used a vacuum to suck dry the water from our carpets on the floor but are worried whether we nned, drill a hole in the ceiling or continuously run the air conditioning if the ceiling is dry. As this was a situation out to dry just OK in his?
It may very well dry. I pulled the carpet up a bit in a week or two to see. A / C does it dry out fast enough, but I would check just to be sure. Mold causes multiple effects on different people.
