Help? Foam air filter for the issue of garden equipment.?
Hello, I have an old tractor and an old Craftsman Craftsman leaf blower / VAC and air filter foam are good and they fall into ruin. I do not think the tickets would sell small engines such air filters, because this equipment is for years 70 and 80. I wonder if it would damage the engine (keep dust and debris inside engine) if I buy the foam from a craft store and the size of the foam thickness / shape and make my own filter? Does the foam must be a certain thickness or thinness? Suggestions? Please help? Sorry for stupid questions. Thank you.
